Employment Screening & Compliance Administrator

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a bright, detail-oriented graduate to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for conducting employment screening and compliance checks for clients across a range of sectors. You will investigate employment histories, verify information, analyse documentation and ensure screening processes are completed accurately and efficiently. The role involves regular communication with candidates, clients and referees by phone and email, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Key Responsilbilties

  • Managing employment screening checks in line with client requirements
  • Communicating professionally with candidates, clients and referees
  • Reviewing and analysing employment documentation
  • Obtaining and validating UK and international references
  • Conducting employment and gap analysis
  • Identifying discrepancies and requesting clarification where required
  • Managing multiple cases while working to agreed deadlines and service levels
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Handling confidential information in line with data protection standards

About You

Essential

  • Degree educated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based systems
  • Professional, reliable and discreet when handling sensitive information
  • A genuine interest in compliance, investigation, HR, screening or professional services

Desirable:

  • Previous administrative, customer service or office-based experience
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong academic achievement and evidence of attention to detail

* No previous employment screening experience is required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
