Human Factors Assistant
Job Description
Human factors have been found to significantly contribute to pollution incidents across the organisation. Associated investigation and reporting have been put in place to better understand the context of this, effectively determining root cause and making suggestion for wider organisational learning and mitigation.
The purpose of this role is to assist the investigation team in the promotion of a psychologically safe workplace, conducting interviews and investigations to sufficiently establish learning points around pollution incidents.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Investigate specific events by interview and write up findings
• Assist the Investigations team in prioritising human factors investigations
• Establish interviews required in conjunction with Investigations Manager
• Associated administration and record keeping
Person Requirements
• Undergraduates and recent graduates
• Pursuing studies/Studied in: Psychology, Social Sciences or similar
• Good relationship and rapport building skills
• Able to maintain confidentiality and promote a psychologically safe working environment
• Ability to work independently across investigations and report-writing
• Full clean driving license + car preferred
