\n\u2022 Generate and qualify leads for the Sales team through digital and call outreach (database work, and campaign support)
\n\u2022 Create and maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in the company\u2019s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
\n\u2022 Support Account Managers with progression of Sales Leads through to qualified Business Opportunities to Converted Orders
\n\u2022 Work alongside the Regional Sales Managers to build targeted prospect lists for Lapsed customers, product categories, events, or campaigns.
\n\u2022 Identify and up-date contacts details within existing customer CRM records
\n\u2022 Support marketing and sales initiatives by tracking lead engagement and reporting on lead quality.
\n\u2022 Stay up to date with Goodfellow\u2019s product offerings to effectively understand customer needs[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1747821384805{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Person Requirements<\/span><\/strong>
\nEssential:<\/span><\/b>
\n\u2022 Currently enrolled in a STEM degree (e.g., Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering) or a Business-related degree with a strong interest in science and technology.
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills \u2013 enthusiasm to engage with customers
\n\u2022 Curious, analytical mindset with the ability to conduct structured research.
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently, stay organised, and manage time effectively.<\/p>\n

Desirable:<\/span><\/b>
\n\u2022 Familiarity with systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Magento, PowerBI as well as customer-specific portals).
\n\u2022 Experience in a customer service, sales, or outreach role (can be academic or voluntary).
\n\u2022 Awareness of the role of materials in research and industry
