\nAt its core the role will be sales; meeting with customers and choosing materials, conducting site surveys, producing estimates for work and managing the installation projects. But being a small business there will be lots of other day to day tasks that will need to be undertaken such as managing a showroom, ensuring prices are up to date, dealing with customers, invoicing etc. So, you will not be working a \u201csingle track\u201d job.<\/p>\n

Being in the construction sector, some knowledge or previous exposure to construction work will be favourable, as a large part of the job will involve visits to building sites and clients homes in order to survey and assess what is required. Competency in taking measurements will also be important.<\/p>\n

There will be a fairly long learning process to understand the ins and outs of the business.
