\nOn behalf of our client, IMG, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Copywriter who will work closely with their Marketing and Communication teams to generate and proof-read copy to complement visual concepts that promote their products, including:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Product launch materials
\n\u2022 Product technical sheets
\n\u2022 Catalogues
\n\u2022 Press adverts
\n\u2022 Promotional materials
\n\u2022 Website pages
\n\u2022 Internal communication announcements<\/p>\n

All copy created by the Junior Copywriter needs to be interesting for the reader, whilst adhering to the objectives of the project, staying within the brief, IMG brand guidelines and being completely grammatically accurate.<\/p>\n

The Junior Copywriter will be expected to develop their skills, working with their passion for writing to expand and improve. There will also be the requirement to use creative instincts to develop engaging concepts to fulfil the Marketing departments key stakeholder expectations.<\/p>\n

The role will involve using feedback from colleagues to sharpen writing skills and create finished pieces that attract and persuade. The Marketing lead on a project will work with the Junior Copywriter, encouraging them to think \u2018outside the box\u2019 and gain confidence in their decision-making and copy capabilities.<\/p>\n

Primary Responsibilities:<\/b>
\n\u2022 Writing and proofreading marketing collateral about IMG\u2019s company products and services
\n\u2022 Create promotional text for online ads, banners, brochures and social networks
\n\u2022 Update existing content on our web pages
\n\u2022 Implement SEO practices including basic keyword research to increase website visibility
\n\u2022 Interview internal team members (e.g. product developers and salespeople) to learn about product features
\n\u2022 Coordinate with designers to complement text with images, graphics and charts, as needed
\n\u2022 Understanding the message IMG Marketing department key stakeholders are seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy
\n\u2022 Writing perfect, pleasing copy that will engage the reader
\n\u2022 Working with the Studio Design Manager and VP of Marketing to devise creative strategies
\n\u2022 Producing creative ideas for innovative campaigns[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”15″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1590450282292{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Person Requirements<\/span>
\n<\/strong>Education\/Qualifications:<\/u>
\n\u2022 Undergraduates who are looking to secure work experience
\n\u2022 BSc in Marketing, Communications, English\u00a0or relevant field
\n\u2022 Should be on course for a 2:2 or higher
\n\u2022 Qualifications in English e.g. English diploma or A level<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 The ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy
\n\u2022 Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
\n\u2022 The ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurised environment
\n\u2022 Great organisational skills
\n\u2022 An eye for detail and a desire for perfection
\n\u2022 Strong research skills that ensure all copy is correct and accurate
\n\u2022 A passion for writing and the willingness to learn from other professional
\n\u2022 Copywriting samples; a portfolio of published articles is a plus
\n\u2022 An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
\n\u2022 Excellent writing and editing skills in English
\n\u2022 Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore) would be beneficial
