\nPeabody<\/b> has an opportunity for a Flexi Support Worker <\/b>to join the team based in Essex.<\/b> You will join us on a casual hours (bank) contract and you will receive a competitive salary of \u00a39.00 per hour (care) and \u00a39.36 per hour (supported housing) and sleep in \u00a373.37.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Flexi Support Worker role:<\/b>
\nWe are looking for passionate and dedicated Care and Support staff to join our flexible bank staff for all areas of Essex. Experience in following client groups is preferred, however this is not essential:<\/p>\n

* Learning Disability \u2013 care
\n* Learning Disability \u2013 supported housing
\n* Young People Services (ages 16-24)
\n* Mental Health
\n* Hostels<\/p>\n

Our staff should be reliable, flexible, motivational and have excellent values. They should be able to demonstrate that they are committed to providing outstanding support services to vulnerable adults. A clear understanding of Safeguarding is essential. Training provided.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities of our Flexi Support Worker:<\/b>
\n* Carry out risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support, and carry out reviews, in accordance with policies and procedures and the requirements of stakeholders and funders
\n* Provide practical and emotional support to customers to achieve the outcomes set out in their support plan
\n* Support customers to budget to cover domestic bills and living expenses
\n* Support customers to make full use of community facilities, play an active role in their community and take up cultural, recreational, educational and employment opportunities
\n* Support customers to maximise their physical and mental health, through liaison with health services and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle
\n* Support customers to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with their family, friends, support workers and other\u00a0 professionals
\n* Implement effective safeguarding practice for vulnerable adults and children in accordance with local authority and Peabody policies, guidance and protocol
