\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a student to join our client, a leading manufacturer of frozen confectionery products, as a Supply Chain Assistant for 12 months. This is a great opportunity for a student who is looking for a placement in order to gain valuable experience in supply chain.<\/p>\n

Key areas of involvement<\/b>
\nThe student may be involved with some or all of the areas below, flexibility and a \u2018can do\u2019 attitude is required:
\n– Monitoring and management of orders
\n– Stock level optimisation at different warehouses
\n– Volume forecasting
\n– Liaising with colleagues and 3rd party logistics providers to optimise logistics
\noperations
\n– Regular communication with customers regarding orders and stock updates
\n– Use and analysis of customer databases
\n– Preparation of regular reports on performance, both internal and external
\n– Plus any other business activities as required.<\/p>\n
