Digital Marketing Intern (Spanish Market)

Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Intern (Spanish Market) to join their Europe division on a placement scheme. This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is looking to gain valuable experience in the digital marketing field.

Responsibilities:
Support the Spanish market at VisitBritain on delivering digital and content marketing activities.

Social Media:

• Social Media moderation of community engagement subject to the business guidelines
• Social Media interaction with partners and influencers
• Creation and curation of content and suggest ideas for new engaging content subject to the business guidelines
• Schedule content for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using scheduling tools
• Proposal of new activities to meet objectives
• Extract data to complete regular reports

Content:
• Create content in Spanish
• Proof read translated content in Spanish
• Translate from English to Spanish

Website:
• Upload, edit and optimise webpages of the Spanish consumer website
• Report bugs and issues to the central content team

Reporting:
• Report back to manager when required

Business Support:
• Assist the Digital Manager as required on ad hoc B2C business activities
• Assist the Spanish Market as required on ad hoc marketing activities such as B2B and PR

Person Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
* Open to undergraduates and post -grads
* Open to Marketing or related degree disciplines

Characteristics:
• Spanish language native speaker with excellent domain of Spanish grammar and previous experience writing in language
• Good knowledge of the Spanish market and culture
• Ability to write and present clearly and persuasively in English. Any other European Language is a plus
• Highly Creative and autonomous profile with good problem-solving skills
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media and online marketing
• Experience working with Office and Photoshop
• Understanding of SEO/SEM

Desirable:
• Experience with CMS tools
• Experience with HTML code
• Experience with content SEO
• Experience with eCRM tools
• Experience writing content ie. for a blog (online or offline)
• Experience creating content on social media channels
• Knowledge of social media management tools
• Understanding of Google Analytics and other analytics tools
• Good knowledge of Britain as a tourism destination
