Customer Service Representative
Job Description
A leading provider of employment background screening services is requiring an Intern to join their screening team as a Customer Service Representative. The role comprises assisting candidates in completing their online applications and obtaining employment references. The successful candidates will receive training in providing telephone and email support and chase up any outstanding applications/references.
This will be an excellent and very rewarding opportunity to join a diverse and vibrant team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Maintain performance against SLA’s
* Follow all department procedures
* Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure
* Assisting candidates in completing their online applications
* Learn how to use database systems and technology to deliver great customer care
* Obtaining employment references by phone and email from companies globally
* Obtaining Highest Education references by phone and email from companies globally
* Data analysis and research
* Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
* Telephone and email support
* Provide excellent customer service experience for candidates
* Excellent communication skills
* General administration duties
Person Requirements
* Undergraduates looking to take a year out in industry as part of their degree course
* Preferred Subjects: Business related
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* You will be computer literate, a knowledge of Word and Excel will be an advantage
* The ability to deal with people of all levels in a confident and professional manner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail
* Approachable, Hard Working, Credible, Flexible
* The role will involve working with sensitive data daily, so honesty, integrity and discretion are an absolute must
* Outgoing and bubbly personality
