Spurgeons is one of the UK’s leading children’s charities, firmly supported by Christian beliefs and values, helping to support disadvantaged children and their families through delivering projects to support children, young people, their families and communities to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges they face.

We are currently looking to replace our intern, who sadly is leaving us in September. The ideal candidate would be someone with at least six months’ experience in media relations and/or public relations – who has been the first point of contact for media enquiries and who have written and pitched stories to the media.

This person should be someone who studied or is currently studying a degree in media, journalism, public relations, international relations or a communications-related degree.

The position is based in Rushden, Northamptonshire, although for the right person we would consider an element of home working.
