CognoLink is a primary research firm that connects clients with leading industry specialists to help them gain a better understanding of the factors and issues affecting investment decisions. Based in London, Shanghai & New York we are a collaborative, energetic team that serves some of the world’s leading hedge funds, private equity and strategy consulting firms.

The Role:
The main purpose of the research role is to facilitate consultations between industry specialists and clients in order to help them make the best investment decisions. You will utilise both company and web based research tools to source industry specialists and develop good working relationships so that you can deliver an excellent service to our clients. Working within a team, you will generate effective work plans for projects and execute them appropriately whilst developing an extensive knowledge of the various industries on which our clients are focused.

This vacancy is within our New York office for a Research Intern who can speak fluent Portugese. This role will be initially for a 3 month period.

Skills Required:
* Fluency in English and the languages stated
* Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
* Demonstrable research ability and a focused, logical approach to project work
* IT literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Good educational background
* Diligent, proactive and well organised approach
