The Finance and Accounting division within the UK is responsible for providing financial information to meet the needs of internal and external clients of companies within the PSA Group. The division consists of a number of departments such as treasury, tax, finance systems, financial analysis, accounting, sales accounts and accounts payable. These departments are responsible for a variety of issues such as controlling credit and invoice terms to customers, financing the UK activities, maintaining adherence to legal standards and the application of Government grants. They are also responsible for controlling all of the bank accounts for the Group’s UK operations, maintaining the General Ledger system and consolidation of Company budgets and forecasts.

Your industrial placement year will consist of two six month placements within the Finance and Accounting division, allowing you to gain a clear understanding of each of the different activities undertaken. As part of your training year, you will be involved in various studies and projects as well as becoming fully involved in the day-to-day activities of your departments. Due to the significant integration with PSA in France, The Netherlands and Scandinavia, you may also be required to communicate with multi-lingual colleagues.

Minimum Requirements
* Working towards or obtained a 2:1 degree in any discipline
* 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent
