PMO Analyst

Job Description
PPDI is a major 4 year transformational programme within Rolls-Royce Aerospace launched in mid 2016. It will simplify and integrate our operational systems using the best suite of Enterprise tools available and a set of modern principles to drive up our jet engine production rate globally. PPDI brings robust data management to support process control and compliance.

The successful applicant will be required to work in the busy PPDI Programme Management Office (PMO) in understanding project progress and devising working plans for the efficient execution of the programme.

Dependant on the applicant’s background, specialism and university course, the PMO Lead will ensure that the applicant is challenged with a set of related projects and is involved across the programme disciplines. This will involve maintenance of aspects of the business case, scheduling, validation of reports, coordinating outputs from world-wide skilled groups and supporting communications and governance.

Some opportunities to join Rolls-Royce graduate and intern events will be offered, where appropriate and the applicant may be attached to a project team to build deeper understanding of transforming operational processes in complex, integrated Engineering, Operations, IT and Business environments.

Person Requirements
* Undergraduates looking to take a year out in industry as part of their degree course
* Should be studying Business Management, Economics, Engineering or Computing Science courses or similar which has a Programme Management content
* Advanced Excel and familiar with Powerpoint, Primavera, Outlook, Microsoft Project or Web Editor is an advantage
* Accurate and task-focused
* Excellent analytical skills
* Relationship building skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel Preferable)
* Evidence of working to deadlines and within timeframes specified
* Organised
* Energetic
* Attention to Detail
