On behalf of our client, ABB, we are recruiting for three Graduate Engineers to join their Graduate Development Programme. This is a great opportunity for engineering graduates looking to start a career with an established and reputable company.

The Role
Working as an effective project team member and interfacing with experienced engineers, ABB graduates will be required to show confidence and a sense of inquiry to seek out information and opportunities for personal and technical development. Graduate engineers will take personal responsibility to deliver specific aspects of projects that are allocated to them, and build an understanding of the engineering procedures and models used within ABB.

ABB graduate engineers will gain an understanding of ABB products and gain experience by working in a project environment of the “Product Life Cycle”. The role will involve significant contact with internal customers in the form of strong working links with senior and lead engineers in the project team. There will also be limited contact with external customers.

Graduate engineers will be challenged to develop their technical knowledge so that a firm foundation is in place to make the transition from education to industry.

Job Requirements:

Achieved a minimum degree classification of a 2.1 in the following subjects:
* Chemical Engineering
* Electronic Engineering
* Software Engineering
(Automation as a Masters would be preferential)
