The Applications Science Intern will partner with a very knowledgeable and experienced applications scientist to gain exposure to the latest, cutting edge technologies in analytical science and develop their laboratory skills in a real world environment.  The successful candidate will be a valued member of the team, contributing to laboratory work, sample preparations, documentation and writing reports.

Responsibilities
* Liaise with applications technical lead to design experiments
* Prepare and run samples in the lab (One or several of IR, GC, LC, ICP, AA, Mass Spectrometry)
* Analyse data (Using instrument software, chemometrics + Data visualization tools such as TIBCO Spotfire)
* Report findings to applications and wider business teams

* Write presentations and\or reports to share findings

Person Requirements
* Self-starter, motivated
* Currently studying chemistry or related analytical science degree
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable in office environment and using computer systems
* Strong team orientation
